Join JaxALA as we show support to those in our own community who have been impacted by domestic violence. We will be attending Hubbard House's annual flag planting event in front of the Duval County Clerk of Courts. Each flag planted represents an Injunction for Protection filed the previous year. October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, and these flags serve as a visible reminder of the number of people who sought an injunction for protection in our community during the previous year. On October 1, 2025 6,000 purple flags were planted on the front lawn representing the number of Injunctions for Protection filed in 2024.
